What is a Daycharm Camera Passport?
It is a digital record for an individual vintage camera, showing the available identity, inspection and condition information associated with its Passport ID.
Does a PASS result mean the camera will never fail?
No. It records the result of specified tests at the time of inspection. Vintage electronics can develop faults later. Applicable consumer rights and any additional warranty are explained in our warranty policy.
Is the cosmetic grade the same as functionality?
No. A camera may have noticeable cosmetic wear while passing essential functionality tests. We present these results separately.
Do I need an app to use the card?
No dedicated Daycharm app is intended. A QR code opens the URL in a browser, while compatible NFC-enabled phones can also read the card by tapping.
Is an NFC card proof that the camera is authentic?
The card links to a record, but a URL or QR code can be copied. Always compare the camera and identifying information with the record; the card alone is not anti-counterfeit proof.
What warranty comes with my camera?
